Spanish lessons

‘The Language House’ is based in San Pedro Alcantara, Marbella. The School teaches you to learn Spanish and gives you the confidence to use the language both socially and in the work place. The school’s teaching methods use communicative activities ensuring that students are practicing their speaking and using Spanish from the very first lesson. Dance Classes

If you’re looking for something cultural and active then why not try Spanish dance classes. ‘The Nicolas Valiente School of Dance’ is based in Marbella and is run by Niko Valiente and his dance partner Marisa Cano. They’re 6th in the World Latin Show and teach dance classes in the evenings and weekends. They teach at all levels, from beginners to advanced. Classes include Salsa, Merengue, ChaCha, Cuban salsa and many more. It’s a great way to meet new people and you do not need to take a partner. Yoga classes

Yoga is a fantastic form of exercise and relaxation, just what you need after a hard days work. ‘Kirsty’s Yoga’ is based in the Marbella area; she’s a fully qualified yoga teacher with the European Yoga Federation. Kirsty’s style of teaching is from the Iyengar tradition, which focuses on gaining the maximum benefit from your posture. She also combines yoga with breathing excersies and meditation. Kickboxing classes

Kickboxing is a wonderful martial art that will keep you active and in great shape. Like all martial arts it helps to gain confidence and teaches discipline. ‘Kudo Academies Martial Arts Education Centre’ is based in Marbella and teaches students from 7 years plus. Classes are taught at all levels with the goal to work through all the belts aiming to achieve the coveted back belt if you choose to do so. Classes run through out the week, however if you’re at work in the day there are evening classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6.30pm-7.30pm. For more information visit the Kudo Academies website.
